During the span of my nursing career and having over seventeen years in healthcare from large urban medical centers to small startup clinics. I understand the need for healthcare in the U.S. to improve and I believe it needs to start in the Primary care settings. All healthcare professionals want to be the best provider possible and provide the best care possible however it has been very difficult for various reasons.

I recognized when I was working as a nurse in the ICU setting, patients would return to our facility with the same issue and I always wondered why and trust me the reasons always varied. However, I believe it starts with community-based care which starts with helping our primary care providers and they need help and trust me being in the primary care setting as a provider it is so needed. We can all agree that patient education to patients and their families. Understanding the medical conditions, medications and the list goes on. Unfortunately we have very little time in the primary care setting to properly education paitns.
